About Birds of Play

I'm a veteran make-it-happener, a project manager, a problem solver, and a team builder. 

For the past four years, I've been wholly immersed in AAA production complexities from different angles and levels: staffing, tools, work practices, communication, oversight, or project governance.

Beyond that, I have over 20 years in the software business, with the last nine years in the games industry. I've been a startup founder, COO, entrepreneur, coder, project manager, and investor, and I worked passionately at every organizational level, often building solutions from scratch. I've built internal units and functions, operated and developed highly successful mobile games, hired engineers, artists, and executives, and supported all kinds of digital sales & marketing. I am a naturally holistic systems thinker and understand how difficult driving organizational change can be.
